This Dovetail Quick Release Plate is compatible with ProMaster tripods, heads, and gimbals that use the Dovetail Mounting System, as well as other Arca-type products. It's a direct replacement for the QR plate included with the ProMaster Panning Clamp (1788) and the Macro Sliding Rail (1802).
This longer 70 mm plate allows for greater flexibility to position any camera or lens. The plate has two removable safety bolts to prevent the plate from sliding out of a compatible receiver. Anti-twist soft pads on top of the plates help them to stay in place once mounted to your camera or lens.
A standard 1/4"-20 bolt is used to mount the plate to a camera or lens. The bolt is installed in the center of the plate, however, it can be moved to one of two slots on either side so you can customize the positioning of it for your particular camera or lens.
