Westcott Scrim Jim Cine 2" Straight Frame Connector

This 2" Straight Frame Connector can be used to connect any two Scrim Jim Cine Frame Tubes. Featuring a durable construction, this connector includes a built-in positive-locking button to ensure that Scrim Jim Cine Frames will stay connected throughout long shoots.

The Scrim Jim Cine is a complete modular system designed to bounce, block, diffuse, subtract, and shape light. This system's durable, lightweight frames are designed to configure in sizes from 1'x 1' up to 8' x 8'. Frame pieces vary in size from 10" tubes and upward, giving filmmakers the ability to fit an entire scrim system into a carry-on or backpack. A variety of connection pieces create endless frame possibilities, allowing filmmakers to construct diffusion boxes, book lights, v-flats, floppy cutters, and more with ease.

Each Scrim Jim Cine tube is constructed with anodized aluminum which ensures both durability and portability. Heavy-duty hook-and-loop tape is riveted to two sides of each tube, allowing for effortless mounting of fabrics and Silk Diffusers in tandem. Frames feature a built-in 3/8-16 thread for quick mounting. Reliable connectors are self-locking and ensure that frame configurations stay in place.

Scrim Jim Cine tubes and connectors combine to create frames which can construct flat 2D frames in sizes up to 8' x 8. Dynamic 3-dimensional light control tools can also be configured thanks to the Scrim Jim Cine's versatile connectors.
